There have been allegations and counter-allegations of politicians and political parties buying PVCs from electorates.
The party on its page on micro-blogging site, Twitter, noted that evil prosper when good people remain silent. It urged Nigerians to safeguard their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) and report anyone who offers to buy them.

Nigerians will go to the polls on March 28 to elect the president of the country. The contest is said to be between the incumbent president, Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and his main challenger, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd) of the All Progressives Congress, APC. There are twelve other candidates in the contest.
While the PDP is urging Nigerians to embrace the continuation of its Transformation Agenda, the APC is calling for Change of what it described as an inept government.
