Senator Musiliu Obanikoro has emerged as the Minister of State 2 for Foreign Affairs.
This followed the inauguration of new ministers by President Goodluck Jonathan shortly before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.
By this designation, Obanikoro will be in charge of African Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affiars. Before press time, Senator Patricia Akwashiki had also been inaugurated.
Akwashiki will oversee the Ministry of Information. Eight nominees were cleared by the Senate last week for ministerial positions. More details Later
