PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN EXCHANGING PLEASANTRIES WITH GOVT. OFFICIALS ON ARRIVAL FROM LONDON ON SUNDAY NIGHT
President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the sack of his Senior Special Assistant on Social Development, Mrs. Aisha Umar.
A terse statement from the spokesman of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, Sam Nwaobasi, in Abuja yesterday simply read: “Goodluck Ebele Jonathan President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has relieved Mrs Aisha Umar of her appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the President”.
The statement which did not give further details said “The termination of Mrs Umar’s appointment takes effect from the 25th of November, 2013”.
