The pictures, taken from the Instagram account ‘Average Parent Problems’, attempts to offer a glimpse into the challenges that raising little ones can bring.
Put together by mommy blogger Ilana Wiles of Mommy Shorts, its aim is to help parents laugh at the so-called ‘problems’…to prevent them from crying.
On her Instagram account, Wiles features funny photos with captions that capture the chaos and carnage that kids can whip up.
One cute picture shows a toddler chomping on bread after her mom left the shopping in the back seat of the car during their drive home.
It has the caption: ‘When you put a bag of groceries within arms length of your toddlers car seat.’
Another funny picture shows just how busy moms can get when they spend all of their time looking after everyone else but themselves.
The image shows a cup of coffee in a microwave while someone holds another cup that they were just about to warm up.
It has the caption: ‘When you go to re-heat your coffee and you find the coffee you never had a chance to drink yesterday.’
Wiles describes herself as a working mother of two little girls, Harlow, who is 21 months and Mazzy, who is four and a half.
She says she likes to ‘write a blog instead of sleeping’ and was a creative director for 15 years before she quit her job and began to run the blog full time in 2013.
