President Goodluck Jonathan has won the presidential election in his home state of Bayelsa, by a landslide.



He thrashed his closest challenger, Muhammadu Buhari, of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Mr. Jonathan won in all eight local government areas of the state, according to results announced Monday by Joseph Ajinka, a professor and vice chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, who is the state’s Collation Officer.
