During interrogation, the suspects confessed on how they carried out the raid. Few weeks ago, a gang of 10 men invaded Murtala Mohammed Airport and headed for the Bureau De Change, BDC, operators centre near the car park, firing indiscriminately.
This led to a shoot-out with a team of policemen attached to the airport, killing two policemen and a member of the gang was also killed. The fire fight, however, prevented the robbers from reaching their target.
